Harvest Youth

For our youth group, the theme verse is Colossians 1:18, “That in all things, He might have the preeminence.”  The importance of giving Christ the preeminence, or first place in our lives, is our desire for all teenagers.  When we are studying the Bible, on visitation, having fun at an activity, or just eating pizza, we are striving to do everything in a way that would most honor Him.

To be able to accomplish anything, one must have clearly defined goals.  The same idea is also true about a youth group.  We have set certain goals so we know if we are accomplishing the right things in the lives of our teenagers.  Our goal is to see each one have a personal, growing relationship with their God.  If this is true about their lives, they will be seeking after God, spending time with Him in His Word and in prayer, and being faithful in church.  This is what we preach on a weekly basis so one day we can accomplish our goal of having godly teenagers.
